Research Reports Increased Dementia Rate in Delayed Medical Intervention


A research by Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute shows that patients with heart arrhythmia may suffer from dementia if anticoagulation treatment is delayed in such cases. The researchers used the CHADS2 Vasc scoreĀ for determining the risk. The results of this study have been recently presented at Heart Rhythm 2017, 38th Annual Scientific Sessions held at Chicago on 12th May, 2017.
