Clemson University conducted a workshop titled “Successful Scientific Publishing” on 25 January for young scientists and scholars. The event sponsored by the College of Science was open to faculty, postdoctoral fellows and student from Clemson and other universities. It provided a unique opportunity for young scientist to hear some of the most influential editors in scientific publishing world including Randy Schekman, co-recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology. What they learned at the workshop could benefit them for the rest of their careers.
