Gene mutations are aggravating the respiratory infections in children: SNSF Researchers


The researchers of Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) have recently deduced that the alterations in the DNA sequence of the genes are leading to the severity of common colds in children. Jacques Fellay, Professor at SNSF, stated that these respiratory-related ailments are responsible for 20% of the total child mortality in the world that are mainly caused due to gene mutations.
