Launching of Open Research Funders Group

The open research funders group is a partnership initiative of eight eminent research funding agencies (Open Society Foundations, the American Heart Association, the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the John Templeton Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation). The group aims at increasing the study data and research article sharing through its open policies. This will help the scientists uncover the research gaps and endorse new innovations as well as reduce the information-sharing gap within the research community. The membership is now open to various non-profit organizations.
