The researchers from Binghamton University have generated a solar driven biological fuel cell developed form the cultured heterotrophic and photosynthetic bacteria. This have been named as microbial fuel cells or MFCs. The MFCs are enabled to generate power for 13 straight days through symbiotic interactions.
