Pensoft introduces new open-access journal ‘Metabarcoding & Metagenomics’
The academic publisher and technology provider Pensoft has introduced a new open-access journal titled Metabarcoding & Metagenomics. It aims at publishing novel papers from both basic and applied aspects. It uses one-of-a-kind publishing platform ARPHA and its collaborative writing tool via the ARPHA-XML workflow to process the manuscripts starting from authoring to peer-review to publication, and to its dissemination. It will focus on genetic approach that covers the biodiversity across all ecosystems, i.e., environmental, microbial, and applied metabarcoding and metagenomics, molecular ecology, DNA-based species delimitation and identification, and other emerging related fields.
